Opening Ceremony, New York’s veritable purveyor of all things hip and cool — when it comes to garments at least — has added another name to their already extensive list of collaborating brands. This time, OC has partnered with Area, designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk’s label which celebrates beautiful textile constructions, to launch a cobranded lineup of five unisex styles in Area’s signature embossed jersey. The simple, but timelessly constructed pieces — the collection includes shirts, shorts and tunics — have Area’s signature minimalist aesthetic and display a freshness that sits well with OC’s customer demographic.
