Brit Wacher, the Montreal-based designer we profiled in the Blonde Ambition issue, has long been fascinated with the abstract.
For F/W 2015, Wacher turned to the “cosmos” to deliver a collection that features many of the trademark elements that have marked her previous collections—shapely and structured, tailored pieces and flowy draped elements—but this time, Wacher has more liberally appropriated the use of patterns.
Called “Cosmic Slop,” the collection features bold pops of trippy, monochromatic patterns, bursts of lace and leather. It is a clean, mature and restrained collection that extends Wacher’s craft into new directions while remaining true to her trademark style. Below, we share the new lookbook, photographed by Menad Kesraoui.
