At Dior Homme’s ready-to-wear runway presentation for Spring/Summer 2016 in Paris this week, Kris Van Assche served an orderly display of tuxedos, tailcoats and flannel suits. “In all disorder, a secret order,” is how Van Assche called this collection. An apt tagline for a collection that whispered nouveau bourgeoisie from almost every look. Camouflage prints accentuated the masculine disposition of the collection, but this was otherwise a clean, tidy and disciplined presentation.
