Runddans, the collaborative album by the legendary Todd Rundgren, and two of Norway’s finest, Emil Nikolaisen of Serena Maneesh and producer Hans-Peter Lindstrøm, is out on May 5th on Smalltown Supersound. The album is described as “a spiritual magnus-opus that stands alongside Rundgren’s most worshipped trippy albums of the seventies, fusing his blue eyed soul with Lindstrom’s epic disco compositions and the studio trickery and psychedelic sound-quilting of Nikolaisen.”
In conjunction with the release, our favorite London DJ Erol Alkan remixed the album track “Put Your Arms Around Me” into a beautiful, uplifting dancefloor soother.
