Art Basel Hong Kong wrapped last week. The 2015 showcase of the multi-location contemporary art fair (with outposts in Miami Beach and Basel) drew 233 galleries from some 37 countries, and scored big with visitors and buyers.\u00a0Galleries enjoyed some healthy\u00a0sales: David Zwirner\u00a0Gallery reported the sale of Chris Ofili’s\u00a0\u201cDead Monkey \u2013 Sex, Money and Drugs” (2000)\u00a0for $2m, while Hauser and Wirth sold\u00a0eight paintings by Zhang Enli\u00a0each ranging\u00a0from US$250,000-350,000 within the first hour of the fair opening.<\/p>\n
