{"id":4429,"date":"2015-09-25T17:21:55","date_gmt":"2015-09-25T17:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/notofu.com\/home\/?p=4429"},"modified":"2018-10-31T02:59:12","modified_gmt":"2018-10-31T02:59:12","slug":"milan-fashion-film-festival-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/notofu.com\/new\/milan-fashion-film-festival-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Milan Fashion Film Festival: The Best Movies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Before the madness of Spring\/Summer 2016 fashion week (which kicked off in Milan earlier this week on September 22nd), another type of fashion showcase took over the city, and, with the fashion world&#8217;s eyes being on New York, you\u00a0would be forgiven for admitting to having completely missed it: the Milan Fashion Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s festival, which ran from September 20th &#8211; 22nd,\u00a0showcased\u00a0180 films\u00a0from both established as well as emerging directors, designers and labels. The jury\u00a0\u2014 composed of\u00a0Franca Sozzani, Rankin, Bruno Aveillan, Lisa Immordino Vreeland, Mario Codognato and Sara Maino\u00a0\u2014 selected 13 winners from the pool across two categories: New Talent and Established Talent.<\/p>\n<p>Rankin&#8217;s <em>X<\/em> for Coco de Mer, Albert Moya&#8217;s <em>High Tide<\/em> for Dries van Noten and Justin Anderson&#8217;s <em>Jumper<\/em> for Jonathan Saunders all took home accolades.
