{"id":5694,"date":"2019-03-15T17:12:24","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T17:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/notofu.com\/new\/?p=5694"},"modified":"2019-03-16T01:29:00","modified_gmt":"2019-03-16T01:29:00","slug":"thierra-whack-wasteland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/notofu.com\/new\/thierra-whack-wasteland\/","title":{"rendered":"Thierra Whack &#8211; &#8216;Wasteland&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thierra Whack&#8217;s new single &#8220;Wasteland&#8221; is the fourth to be released by the singer on a weekly basis, following &#8220;Only Child,&#8221; &#8220;CLONES&#8221; and &#8220;Gloria.&#8221; It&#8217;s an effort she dubs #whackhistorymonth.<\/p>\n<p>This follows on from the Philadelphia rapper&#8217;s release of <em>Whack World<\/em>, her debut studio album, in May 2018. <em>Whack World<\/em> consisted of fifteen 1-minute songs, each of which Whack made a video for.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Wasteland&#8221; continues to reveal Whack&#8217;s many dimensions. Here, Whack is slower-paced, more pensive, almost soulful.
