The fourth instalment of POSTSCRIPT, the performance art series\u00a0hosted at MoMA PS1\u2019s Printshop, is taking place this weekend. Described as \u201ca performance series that explores the confluence of music, poetry and fashion\u201d, POSTSCRIPT has in the past featured such artists as Timeghost, Boy Harsher, Gene Pick, Peter Seligman, Nick Klein, Dark Sister, Negation and I Lewis, and has expanded considerably, both in size and popularity, since its inception.<\/p>\n

This fourth instalment, with an extended lineup, promises to be bigger and more fun\/wackier than ever before.<\/p>\n

Hosted by Bernard Herman, the event features performances by corporate-aesthetics meets face-tattoos culture jammer Sofia Reta<\/strong>, genre-bending dance duo FlucT<\/strong>, James K.<\/strong> (PET), \u201cGlobal-Electro-SuperCorn-with 90\u2019s Fetish\u201d musician Niko Solorio<\/strong> (who performs under the name POCKET NIKO and + TAX), and M. Lamar<\/strong>, a musician inspired by \u201cblackness\u201d ranging from African-American spirituals to black metal.<\/p>\n
