A film festival, <em>I\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"CToWUd\" src=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/e\/2764\" alt=\"\u2764\" width=\"18\" height=\"18\" \/>NRCHY: Subversion &amp; the City<\/em>, now in ts third year, aims to celebrate New York City&#8217;s legacy as a place of radical thought and action.<\/p>\n<p>Running through August 8 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.morusnyc.org\/filmfest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space<\/a>, the festival features\u00a0shorts, documentaries, oral histories and features will pay homage to the spirit and legacy of anarchy in New York City, and explores &#8220;self-determined communities fighting for their own forms of power today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This translates to screenings of such films as\u00a0<span class=\"itemprop\">Steven Fischler and<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"itemprop\">Joel Sucher&#8217;s 1983\u00a0provocative and irreverent documentary\u00a0<em>Anarchism in America <\/em>and Herbert J. Biberman&#8217;s controversial<em> Salt of the Earth <\/em>(1954),\u00a0considered one of the most important films celebrating minorities and equality ever made.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>All inclusive passes are available for $20.00.\u00a0Admission to each individual screening requires\u00a0a suggested donation of $5.00.
